Our Monroe limousine service starts from our own lot: the office and garage are at 563 NY-17M, in the Monroe Plaza shopping center area, and every sedan, SUV and Sprinter we send across the Hudson Valley leaves from here. Residents book us for airport runs, train connections at Harriman, weddings and evenings out, and a pickup anywhere in the Village of Monroe or the surrounding town is only minutes from where the vehicles are parked.
The office is staffed Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays the desk opens 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those are desk hours, not service hours: the vehicles run around the clock, holidays included, and overnight calls go to a dispatch team.
Living near the garage does not change the booking rules. We ask for 24 hours’ notice on a sedan or SUV and 48 hours on anything larger, and we try to help when a request arrives later than that. What proximity does change is how far a vehicle has to travel to your door, which matters when a flight moves or a dinner runs long and a nearby vehicle is the simplest fix.
Approximate times from our garage on a weekday morning:
Newark is the quickest of the three in morning traffic even though LaGuardia is fewer miles away. Treat these as planning figures, not promises, and leave extra room on holiday weekends and Friday afternoons. For arrivals we track the flight and text the passenger the chauffeur’s name and number after landing. Stewart Airport in New Windsor is the short local option whenever your airline flies from there, with the same curbside routine and free waiting time as the big three.
A Monroe car service booking is often not about the airport at all. A few common patterns:
The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge is in town, and weddings, golf outings and corporate days there can call for shuttles from area hotels. Arrow Park, also local, hosts weddings with guests coming up from the city. As Lisa L. put it in her Google review, “We had a shuttle van for my daughter’s wedding from NYC to Arrow Park.”
For the couple and wedding party, the 14-passenger Sprinter limo keeps everyone together between the ceremony, photos and reception, and our wedding transportation can add guest shuttles on the same schedule. A Monroe limousine for a large event needs the 48-hour minimum at the very least; for a wedding date, book as early as you can, since a 25% deposit holds the vehicle.
The towns around us get the same short-notice advantage. Woodbury and the village of Harriman lie just east toward the Thruway, and Chester is the next town west on Route 17, with LEGOLAND New York just beyond it in Goshen. Route 208 leads north to Washingtonville, and to the south we serve the gated village of Tuxedo Park. Farther afield, we pick up across Orange County, NY and beyond.
No, every booking is quoted on its own, based on the vehicle, date and time, stops and waiting. Quoted rates are all-inclusive; tolls or parking are added afterward only if you add stops or run into overtime.
Our overnight dispatch team covers the phones from 6 p.m. until 9 a.m., and after hours you can press 0 to reach an operator. Your chauffeur’s name and number also arrive by text once the plane is down, so you can call them directly when your bags are in hand.
It depends on the airline and the destination. Stewart is closer and quick to reach, but it serves fewer routes; Newark has far more flights and connections and is the fastest of the three big New York airports from our area in morning traffic. Compare the total door-to-door time, not just the fare.
Local pickups go into our online reservations, or you can phone (877) 811-8400 at any hour; include the flight number or train time if you are being met. For receipts and billing questions during office hours, the office line is 845-782-5552.
