Westchester Car Service and Limo Service

Our Westchester car service takes residents, commuters and visiting clients to the airports, Metro-North platforms, offices and wedding venues between the Bronx line and Putnam, in chauffeured sedans, SUVs and Sprinter vans reserved ahead at a quoted rate. Nothing is hailed or metered. You send the address, the flight or train and the passenger count, and we choose the airport approach and the pickup time that make sense from your street, from Yonkers and Mount Vernon in the south to Peekskill and North Salem up north.

As a Westchester limo company, we hold licenses from the county’s Taxi & Limousine Commission, NYDOT and USDOT, and we have run chauffeured service from our Monroe garage since 2002. Every chauffeur passes a background check and random drug tests, then trains for a month and rides along with senior drivers for two more weeks before driving alone. Dispatch answers around the clock, so a pre-dawn departure from Katonah or a midnight return to Rye is arranged the same way as a midday one.

Westchester Car Service to HPN, LaGuardia, JFK and Newark

No single airport suits every town. Your town, your flight time and your luggage all change the answer, so treat this as a starting point and then compare the actual flights:

Where you live Airports worth comparing Roads that usually decide it
Yonkers and the Hudson villages LGA, HPN, EWR Saw Mill, Thruway, Route 9
Mount Vernon, Pelham, Eastchester, Bronxville LGA, JFK Bronx River Pkwy, Hutchinson River Pkwy
Sound Shore, New Rochelle to Port Chester LGA, JFK, HPN I-95, Hutchinson River Pkwy
White Plains and the central towns HPN, LGA I-287, I-684, Bronx River Pkwy
The northern towns HPN, LGA, JFK I-684, Taconic, Saw Mill

Westchester County Airport (HPN) is the closest field for the central and eastern towns, and the airlines and terminal details are listed on the official airport website. Roland S. put a drop-off there in one line in a Google review: “Excellent service on our return trip to the Westchester County airport.”

Long international itineraries usually mean JFK, and the drive between Kennedy and your door in either direction is a route we price on its own. LaGuardia is a strong option for domestic flights from Yonkers, the Sound Shore and the towns near the Bronx, and Newark Liberty is worth a look from the Hudson towns when the fare or the schedule is better. At any of these terminals, our airport transfers include flight tracking, an automated message naming your chauffeur once the plane is down, and a free waiting period: 30 minutes on domestic arrivals, 60 on international ones.

North-South Corridors and the Three Metro-North Lines

Travel here runs mostly north and south, along a few corridors. On the west side, Route 9, the Saw Mill and the New York State Thruway (I-87) follow the Hudson villages. Through the middle, the Bronx River, Sprain Brook and Taconic parkways connect Yonkers and Scarsdale with White Plains and the northern towns. On the east side, I-95 hugs Long Island Sound, while I-684 carries traffic from White Plains toward Bedford, Katonah and Brewster. The Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287) ties them together, from the Thruway at Elmsford and Tarrytown to Rye and Port Chester.

Metro-North follows the same pattern with three lines: the Hudson Line, the Harlem Line up the center, and the New Haven Line along the Sound. A car service in Westchester County, NY, often starts on a platform rather than in a driveway: picture a commuter back from Grand Central after a business trip, with two suitcases, who wants a vehicle waiting at Croton-Harmon or White Plains for the last few miles home.

The Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge links Tarrytown with Rockland County. It matters for departures to the New Jersey airports and for families split between both banks.

Westchester County Limousine Services for Weddings and Office Days

Weddings here often involve two or three addresses: a hotel, a ceremony site and a reception venue, sometimes in different towns. A Westchester limo service for a wedding day has to keep all of them on one timeline, and our wedding transportation does that for the couple’s vehicle and the guest shuttles alike; a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for up to 14 passengers can run the loop between the hotel and the reception all night.

Companies with offices in White Plains, Purchase, Tarrytown or along I-287 use our executive car service for visiting staff flying into HPN, client pickups and full days with a chauffeur on hand between meetings.

Bookings do not stop at the line on the map. We cross the Hudson into Rockland County, head north into Putnam County and east into Fairfield County, Connecticut, so a pickup in Port Chester with a drop-off in Greenwich, or a Nyack dinner after a Tarrytown meeting, is a single reservation.

Questions About Stations and Airport Choice

Can you meet me at a Metro-North station instead of my house?

Yes. Give us the station name and the pickup time, and the chauffeur will be there at that time. Choose a time a few minutes after your train is due, since trains sometimes run late. If you walk out and cannot find the chauffeur, phone dispatch at once and we will connect you.

Which airport makes more sense from Bedford, Katonah or Somers?

It depends on the flight. HPN is usually the shortest drive from those northern towns, but it has far fewer routes, so a long-haul or international itinerary from the north often means JFK or Newark, and many domestic routes are only available from LaGuardia. When you request a quote, mention both options and we will price each one.

We live in Yonkers. Should we fly from LaGuardia or Newark?

Both are within reach. LaGuardia is across the Bronx, while Newark means crossing the Hudson on the George Washington Bridge or heading over the Cuomo Bridge and down through Rockland and New Jersey. The better choice usually comes down to your airline and the hour, so send the flight number and we will work out when the chauffeur should be at your door.

Reservations for Airports, Stations and Events

Book Westchester County limo service for any address through our online booking, with your flight or train details in the notes. A sedan or SUV normally needs a day’s notice and a Sprinter two days.
