Rockland County Car Service and Limo Service

Majestic Transportation Services & Limo Inc.

Our Rockland County car service takes residents and their guests to Newark, LaGuardia, JFK, Westchester County Airport and Stewart, meets trains in Pearl River and Suffern, and covers weddings, proms and nights out. Each booking is made in advance and priced before the day, never metered. The first decision is usually the airport, and the second is which bridge or parkway makes sense from your street. The New York State Thruway, the Palisades Interstate Parkway and the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, operated by the New York State Thruway Authority, are a short drive from most homes between the river villages, the Route 59 corridor and the hamlets north toward Bear Mountain, and the plan for each pickup starts there.

Airport Transportation From Rockland County

Airports in two states are within reach, so the right one depends on your airline, your flight time and where you live. Five commercial airports are worth comparing, and for private and charter flights, Teterboro, just over the line in Bergen County, New Jersey, is close at hand.

Airport Usual route Often a good fit for
Newark Liberty International (EWR) Garden State Parkway or the Palisades Parkway into New Jersey Southern and central towns, United and international flights
LaGuardia (LGA) Across the Cuomo Bridge or down the Palisades Parkway and over the George Washington Bridge Domestic business travel
John F. Kennedy International (JFK) Same bridges, then on to Queens Long-haul international flights
Westchester County Airport (HPN) East across the Cuomo Bridge Short domestic flights from a smaller terminal
New York Stewart International (SWF) North on the Thruway or the Palisades Parkway Haverstraw, Stony Point and the northern hamlets

From New City, the county seat, a weekday morning departure runs about 44 miles and roughly 57 minutes to Newark, about 33.5 miles and roughly 1 hour 7 minutes to LaGuardia, and about 48.7 miles and roughly 1 hour 33 minutes to JFK. Traffic moves those times around, but the pattern is worth knowing: from the center of the county, Newark is often the quicker drive even though LaGuardia is closer on a map.

What Happens When You Land

Our Rockland County airport car service picks you up at the curb by default. Once the plane is on the ground, a text arrives with the name and cell number of the chauffeur assigned to you. Collect your bags, ring that number, and the vehicle pulls up at the arrivals curb in 5 to 10 minutes. Flight tracking means an early or late landing is already accounted for, and the free wait runs 30 minutes for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international ones, which matters on a Newark or JFK arrival with a long customs line. A chauffeur holding a name sign inside the terminal is also available, at an extra charge.

Booking a Pickup for Visiting Guests

Airport pickups do not have to be booked by the traveler. Say your parents are flying into JFK for a family celebration in Pearl River: you can make the reservation and give us their flight number and their mobile number, since the arrival text goes to the passenger. The same works in reverse for their flight home. For a company flying a team in for meetings, a single 14-passenger Mercedes-Benz Sprinter keeps everyone and their luggage together instead of splitting the group across several vehicles.

Rockland County Car Service for Trains, Nights Out and Hourly Days

A Rockland car service is not only for flights. The Pascack Valley Line stops in Pearl River, Nanuet and Spring Valley, and the Port Jervis Line stops in Suffern, so we can meet a train as easily as a plane. Whether we are meeting you on a platform or in your driveway in Stony Point, the chauffeur arrives at the booked time, so be ready outside then. Nobody in sight? Phone dispatch at once; a quick call keeps the pickup from being recorded as a no-show.

Local plans fill the rest of the calendar. A business day of meetings around Nanuet and the Route 59 offices, or a Saturday of errands and family visits, works best as hourly car service, with every stop included and one chauffeur for the whole day. A dinner in Nyack or Piermont followed by drinks somewhere else is a natural night on the town booking, since nobody in the party has to drive home. All our car services across Rockland run by reservation, never by street hail or meter.

Weddings and Prom Night

Couples marrying at a riverfront venue in Nyack or Piermont can reserve wedding transportation for the bridal party and a shuttle for guests; as a limousine service in Rockland County, NY, we set the couple’s vehicle and the guest runs on one timeline, from the first photo stop to the last shuttle back to the hotel. Prom groups from schools across Clarkstown, Ramapo and Orangetown can share one limo bus for prom night. For smaller parties, limo service in Rockland County can be as simple as a Chevrolet Suburban for up to six with bags, whether the destination is a terminal, a graduation or a Manhattan dinner.

Questions About Airports and Pickups Here

Which airport is closest to New City and the central towns?

On a map, Westchester County Airport and LaGuardia are closest. On the road it changes: from New City on a weekday morning, Newark comes out ahead of LaGuardia. From Haverstraw and Stony Point, Stewart is usually the nearer drive. Tell us your airline and flight time, and our dispatch team will suggest a pickup time that fits the route.

Is Newark or JFK the better choice for an international flight?

Both handle long-haul flights, and the airline usually decides it. If the choice is open, Newark tends to be the shorter drive from the central and southern towns, while JFK means crossing a bridge and continuing through the Bronx and Queens. On the way back, the free wait after an international landing is an hour, which helps when the passport line is slow.

Do you also serve the town of Rockland in the Catskills?

Yes, but that is a different place: a town in Sullivan County that shares the name. Pickups there are handled as part of our service in Sullivan County, not from the Hudson River side covered here.

Airport Runs, Weddings and Proms: How to Book

For an airport run or a point-to-point booking, use our reservation system and enter your flight details there; sedans and SUVs need about a day’s notice, a Sprinter or limo bus two days. For a wedding, a prom group or a corporate shuttle, the quote request form lets you lay out the whole plan. You can also call us at (877) 811-8400, day or night, or email majestic@mtslimousine.com.
